Our Campus
Milepost35 operates on Wy’east Academy’s private 28-acre campus. Located at the base of Mt. Hood in beautiful Sandy, Oregon, our campus is just a pedal away from the Northwest’s best trails and terrain, tucked away from traffic and the distractions of city life.
M35 TRAIL SYSTEM
M35 trails are built by riders for riders and are located on the Wy’east campus, which abuts over 3,000 acres of rideable terrain. We have partnered with Sensus R.A.D. Trails, a non-profit founded by Cam Zink, to provide a trail system that is accessible and progressive for all levels of riders. The trails are made with our famous M35 loam and offer a mix of single track, freeride flow, and everything in between.
SOFT START™
After thirty years of teaching people to ski, snowboard, and skateboard, we’ve learned that your coach is as important as the terrain on which you’re learning. From this simple insight, we developed our Soft Start™ terrain-based learning program. Our private Soft Start™ learn-to-bike park is designed to naturally control your speed with gentle rollers, mellow banks, and low-consequence balance features. Soft Start™ - Learn to Ride the Easy Way.
SKILLS COURSE
Test your riding in the M35 skills course, made up of skinnies, drops, teeter totters, berms, rollers, and other features designed to test your shredding abilities.
DUAL SLALOM COURSE
The slalom track offers all levels of riders the opportunity to develop cornering, pumping, and jumping skills, as well as the chance to challenge your friends or favorite athlete to a race. Designed by Cam Zink, the course is family-friendly, but gapable and lapable for advanced riders.
MOUNTAIN BIKE AIR BAG
For anyone looking to learn or progress in jumping, our new 45-foot bike airbag offers a perfect low consequence opportunity for building confidence and air-awareness. Under the watchful eyes of our professional coaching staff you’ll gain the confidence and skills before taking it to our mirrored takeoff mulch jump.
MULCH JUMP
For those who are ready for the big stuff, we’ve got features to enable you to progress as quickly and safely as possible. Work with your coach to practice larger airs, inverts, and spins into our 45-foot airbag. Once you’re comfortable and your coach gives you the green light, take it to the mulch jump, which has the same run-in and ramp geometry, but features a matched landing with a cushy layer of mulch.
THE CONCRETE JUNGLE
Our Concrete Jungle skateboard and bike park stretches throughout the entire campus with over 50,000 square feet of rideable terrain, featuring a miniramp section, concrete bowl, quarterpipes, spines, banks, hips, a vert wall with pool coping, rollers, ledges, rails, steps, manual pads, and so much more for you to find endless lines.
